Consistor

Draft, 22 October 2026

Privacy policy

Consistor helps you build habits with the people you choose. We collect what the app needs to do that, and nothing to sell or advertise with.

What we collect

Your contacts

Consistor reads your contacts only when you open Add people and agree. The phone numbers are sent over an encrypted connection to find which of your contacts already use Consistor, and they aren't stored. We keep only the list of matched Consistor users, so that "Who can add me to groups: My contacts" works. When you invite a number that isn't on Consistor yet, we keep a keyed hash of that number with the invite for 30 days, so the invite is waiting if they join. It is then deleted.

We don't collect your location or health data.

Who can see what

Your groups see your name, photo and check-ins for the goals you share with them. For each group you can hide photos or numbers. People outside your groups can't see anything.

Where it's stored

Data is stored with Google Firebase in Mumbai, India (asia-south1), encrypted in transit and at rest. Google processes it on our behalf. When you ask for a goal suggestion, the goal's title, cue and your other goal titles are sent to Anthropic's Claude to write the suggestion. It isn't used to train their models.

What we never do

Deleting your data

Delete your account from the app at any time (Profile, then Delete account). This removes your data straight away. See how to delete your account, including how to ask by email if you can't open the app.

Children

Consistor isn't meant for children under 13.
